Entropie à l'infini et trou critique en courbure négative

Dans cette exposé, j'étudierai certains liens entre topologie, analyse et géométrie donnés par l'étude du flot géodésique sur les variétés non compacte à courbure négative. Après avoir rappelé les notions classiques d'entropies, je présenterai les notions d'entropie à l'infini et de trou critique, et différentes applications au comptage des orbites fermées, au spectre du Laplacien et au mélange du flot géodésique.

Conformal densities and applications in rank one CAT(0)-spaces

In this talk I will introduce the notion of conformal densities and give some useful applications. I will describe in particular Ricks' construction of a geodesic flow invariant measure on quotients of rank one CAT(0)-spaces using such a conformal density. This measure generalises Bowen-Margulis measure for CAT(-1)-spaces with which it shares many properties such as ergodicity, mixing and equidistribution (provided the discrete quotient group is divergent, a notion that I will also explain in the talk).

SO(2, n+1)-maximal representations and hyperbolic surfaces

The goal of the talk is to adapt a construction of Thurston (pleated surfaces) in order to link the (pseudo)-Riemannian geometry of SO(2, n+1)-maximal representations to the geometry of hyperbolic surfaces and Teichmüller space. Among other applications, pleated surfaces provide a purely geometric approach to work of Collier, Tholozan, and Toulisse which is one of our main motivations. Joint with Filippo Mazzoli.
