    Asymptotically Locally Euclidean Kahler Manifolds

    In recent years, the asymptotically locally Euclidean (ALE) Kahler manifolds attracted a lot of attention, and many examples satisfying curvature constraints were constructed. In this talk I will discuss the complex structure of an ALE Kahler manifold: any such manifold is obtained by smoothings and resolutions of isolated quotient singularities, and present several applications. The talk is based on a joint work with Hans-Joachim Hein and Ioana Suvaina.
